A small firm on purpose. Six decades of combined experience in one room.
Investment Finance Hub was started in a Cranberry Township office park in 2014 by a mortgage broker and a tax adviser who were tired of watching good families get bad outcomes from confusion, not from carelessness.
We started with one spreadsheet and one stubborn idea.
The idea was simple: a household should be able to sit down once a year with the same person who handles their loan, their taxes, their investments and their insurance, and see all four numbers on one page. At the time, no local firm would do it — the tax preparer did not speak to the mortgage broker, and neither spoke to the advisor.
So we built it ourselves. The first year we advised eleven families, priced on a flat fee because nobody had time to argue about percentages. By 2018 the referral book was full enough to hire our first analyst. By 2023 we had a review process that clients actually read.
Today we work with just over 3,200 households and 140 small businesses across Pennsylvania. We still do not have a sales floor, a call centre or a product quota, and we intend to keep it that way.
3,200+ households
Advised since 2014, 78% still with us.

Independent, employee-owned since day one.
Make good financial choices the easy ones.
We translate. Not into simpler words — into clearer decisions, with the cost of each one written down before you have to commit.
A county where nobody is surprised by money.
Most financial pain in our area is timing pain: a refinance missed, a tax penalty, a policy that lapsed. We plan backwards from those dates.
One advisor, four disciplines, no product push.
Every recommendation is signed by a named person who is paid a salary, not a percentage of what you borrow or insure.
Five commitments, printed on the wall and in the contract.
If we break one of these, say so at your next review. You get a month of your fee back — that is not a marketing line, it is clause 6.2 of our engagement letter.
1. Radical transparency
Every fee, commission and rebate appears in writing beside the recommendation it belongs to. You should never have to ask what we earn from a suggestion.
2. Do no harm
We would rather lose the deal than place a loan you cannot service in a bad month. Cash-flow stress tests come before rate comparisons.
3. Plain language
Written summaries at a grade-eight reading level, with numbers spelled out in dollars rather than in basis points.
4. We answer
One business day for email, under four hours in an emergency. Your advisor's direct line is on page one of your file.
5. Keep learning
Every adviser completes 40 hours of annual training in tax, credit or investment practice, independent of any vendor.
6. Local roots
We hire locally, sponsor three school athletics clubs a year and hold free Saturday money clinics at the Cranberry library.
Nine advisers, two analysts, one very organised office manager.
Everyone below is client-facing and holds an active licence. You will be assigned one named adviser; you can change them at any time, no explanation required.
